Privacy Policy
Effective: 1 October 2026
Pipzi is a speed-reading training app. You don't need an account to use it, and the reading you do stays with you.
What stays on your device
- The name you choose, your reading language, daily goal and reminder time.
- Your progress: lessons, answers, reading speeds, streak, gems, quests and league results.
- Books you import (EPUB or PDF) and "My Book" measurements.
This data is stored only on your device. We do not receive your books or their text. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Usage statistics and crash reports
To understand which parts of Pipzi help people read better and to fix problems, the app uses Google Firebase:
- Firebase Analytics records app events (for example opening the app, finishing a lesson or a weekly check), your device model, operating system, app version, language and an approximate region derived from your IP address, linked to a random app-instance identifier.
- Firebase Crashlytics sends crash reports with technical details of the device state at the time of the crash.
We use this information only to improve Pipzi. We do not sell data. You can turn this off at any time in Profile → Settings → Share usage data.
Advertising
On the free and Lite plans Pipzi shows ads from Google AdMob: an optional video that gives you one more lesson, and at most one full-screen ad after a lesson or a daily reading. There are never ads during a reading or after the weekly check, and Pro has none. To show ads and count them, Google may use your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow it when Apple asks), your IP address and how you interact with the ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first; you can change your choice at any time in Profile → Settings → Ad privacy choices. Subscriptions
Pipzi Pro is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives the store's purchase receipts and a random app user identifier, not your name or e-mail address.
Notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. No reminder data leaves your device.
Children
Pipzi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Where data is processed
Google and RevenueCat may process the data described above on servers outside your country, under their own privacy commitments and applicable data-protection law (including the GDPR and KVKK where they apply).
Your rights
You may ask us for access to, correction or deletion of data linked to your app-instance identifier, and you may object to its processing. Because we hold no account for you, the simplest way to erase everything on your device is to delete the app; to switch off future analytics, use the setting above.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
